Scottsville Community Church

Governance

Our Leadership Model

Governance matters rest with the local elders of the church. The eldership team  consists of the pastor, assistant pastor/s and three elected elders (male persons) and  three elected deacons (male or female persons). At every AGM one-third of the  elected officials will retire. The pastor’s appointment (and those of assistant pastors)  is for a period of 3 years only. This period may be extended by another 3 years if 80%  of members present at the AGM vote in favour of the extension.

The interim Council Chairman is Mr Thami Mdhluli.

The current Pastor is Mondli Caluza. He is at present registered for the B Th degree.  He also holds a B Sc in Microbiology and is independently contracted to a private higher education institution.
